A helping hand for AFRICA and ASIA

Simple. Feasible. HANDY…

A movable operating room, with all the necessary surgical instruments, all that is needed to operate the sick, warped, traumatized and amputees hands, to give a future, a job, a hope those who do not have one anymore.

Decisive action to permanently change a person's life.

Our project is simple. An ever-ready suitcase with all the equipment ready to go and land wherever you need us: Ghana, Togo, Burkina Faso, Kenya, Jordan, Uganda, India. We have identified the most needy areas and the most appropriate hospitals to receive our "box", to welcome our surgeons, anesthesiologists and nurses. Costs are minimized: no administration fees, no time wasted to build, equipping technology because after a short time they would need improvements, repairs and management. Only the operative field staff, with no additional costs. Everything is given to us in financial terms goes straight into the box and supports surgical activities. All we need is a hospital available to us for a short period of time, around 3-4 weeks. We arrive with our special "box", we deliver our surgical instruments in the operating department, then previously selected patients are operated according to a projection which gives priority to children and women. When finished, the medical team returns home, the box is restored and now it’s ready for another mission. Only physiotherapists remain in the area for a certain period of time in order to train those reconstructed hands to be useful to move in harmonious and functional way again. This is the way to optimize time and reduce costs by being able to work in more areas. The data can be documented and the results are there for all to see. Entirely transparent, verifiable, reportable to those who support us financially. Help us to help others!
